Job Description

We are partnering with an Am Law 30 firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to support the Investigations and White-Collar Defense (IWCD) and International Arbitration (IA) practices. Working closely with practice leaders the Senior Manager will develop lead and execute on plans that support the overall business goals of the groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Collaboration: Collaborate with practice leaders partners and internal stakeholders to design and implement business development and marketing plans that advance practice goals and firm priorities.
  • Client Development and Intelligence: Strengthen client relationships by supporting key initiatives leveraging competitive intelligence and driving cross-selling opportunities in coordination with the global business development team.
  • Project Management: Develop high-quality proposals pitches practice overviews web content and award submissions that showcase expertise and enhance market visibility.
  • Visibility and Engagement: Manage sponsorships partnerships media relations digital marketing and client-facing events to maximize ROI and elevate practice profile.
  • Process and Innovation: Drive firm-wide efforts to enhance business development processes and ensure best practices across functions.

Credentials and Expertise:

  • Educational Background: A bachelors degree with an emphasis in marketing law or business is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of business development and marketing experience. Prior experience in supporting Investigations White Collar Defense and International Arbitration is preferred.
  • Capabilities: Strong communication and research skills understanding of law firm operations and client needs and demonstrated strength in relationship management leadership and team development.
