We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a high-profile sensitive building. The successful candidate will act as a Managing Agent serving as the key liaison between client and various service providers to ensure that all facilities-related functions are carried out efficiently securely and in full compliance with the clients protocols and standards.Job Description
- Client Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact for the client providing timely updates addressing concerns and ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations. - Facility Operations:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facility management including M&E systems housekeeping pest control waste management landscaping security and other soft and hard services. - Vendor and Contractor Management:
Supervise third-party vendors and contractors to ensure quality timeliness and compliance with building standards and sensitive site requirements. - Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the facility is fully compliant with all safety health environmental and legal regulations. Conduct routine inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions. - Budgeting and Cost Control:
Manage operational budgets track expenditures and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and compliance. - Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular reports on operations incidents inspections maintenance schedules and KPIs to both the client and internal stakeholders. - Crisis and Emergency Response:
Lead or support emergency response plans and drills ensuring the building and team are prepared for any contingencies. - Team Leadership:
Manage on-site staff (if any) ensuring roles are clearly defined performance is monitored and training is provided where necessary.
About You:
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management Engineering Building Services or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management with at least 2 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
- Experience working in secure or sensitive building environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building systems (M&E) statutory requirements and workplace safety.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive reliable and able to work independently under pressure.
- Familiarity with contract management and budgeting processes.
