Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Systems Engineer III for a potential opportunity to support NIWC Atlantic in Charleston SC. This is aKey Personnel position is required for orals. This Engineer will oversee the creation integration and lifecycle support of hybrid software web and hardware products for U.S. Navy navigation systems ensuring solutions meet technical cost schedule and operational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Specific Experience
At least five (5) years of technical experience in the design and development of U.S. Navy Navigation Systems including one 1 or more of the following specialized areas (experience may be achieved simultaneously):

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Seven (7) years of professional IT experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
- Integration Skills: Demonstrated experience integrating various network operating systems application programs and hardware devices through system specification design coding testing and maintenance support.
- Project Perspective: Ability to consider overall project design factors including cost schedule and social implications associated with project execution.
Specific Experience
At least five (5) years of technical experience in the design and development of U.S. Navy Navigation Systems including one 1 or more of the following specialized areas (experience may be achieved simultaneously):
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) interface protocols (I/Os)
- Digital design using state-of-the-art microprocessors or analog systems
- Power and/or RF (radio frequency) design
Desired Attributes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and Navy-specific navigation system requirements.
