Job Summary
The Human Engineering Software team works closely with many teams around Apple to build powerful multi-platform tools with a particular focus on user studies for new Apple are seeking a world-class Solutions Architect who is passionate about designing and implementing comprehensive data workflows for sensitive user research this role you will architect end-to-end solutions for user research data collection storage and analysis while ensuring the highest standards of compliance security and operational efficiency. You will take a holistic view of study workflows balancing technical requirements with usability and regulatory constraints.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale data systems handling sensitive or regulated datasets
- Strong background in designing end-to-end data workflows (collection storage processing analysis)
- Experience with Unix-based systems and command line interfaces
- Demonstrated expertise in system architecture including cloud services encryption network security and distributed storage
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing cross-functional technical projects and stakeholder alignment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with systems thinking approach
- BS/MS in Computer Science Systems Engineering Data Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with user research methodologies and data collection tools
- Background in healthcare research or other regulated industries handling sensitive data
- Experience with data privacy frameworks (GDPR CCPA HIPAA)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and research data formats
- Experience with containerization microservices and modern DevOps practices
