Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer (Hybrid)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer you will play a key role within our Infrastructure Security team contributing to the design development and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions across diverse environments including cloud platforms on-premise infrastructure and Kubernetes. Your expertise will be vital in guiding the organization in maintaining strong Infrastructure security practices and fostering a security-conscious culture.

• Collaborate on infrastructure security initiatives contributing to the development and execution of infrastructure security strategies that protect our organisation from evolving threats.

• Implement automation solutions to improve cloud security posture and optimize security operations within our on-premises infrastructure.

• Continuously improve the security of our infrastructure ensuring resilience against abuse malicious activities and emerging threats.

• Support secure containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines by building security into processes with developer-friendly guardrails.

• Help develop security processes for infrastructure provisioning emphasizing least-privilege principles and zero-trust models.

• Act as a mentor to junior engineers providing guidance on security best practices.

• Own the process of identifying remediating and validating high-severity security issues minimizing disruption to the organization and customers.
  

WED LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have 5 years of experience contributing to Infrastructure security initiatives and building secure infrastructures in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments.

• You have experience with (Azure) Active Directory and how to secure it.

• You have a strong understanding of cloud and on-premise network security (firewalls routers switches) and stay current on evolving threats and best practices.

• You are proficient with cloud-native technologies including CI/CD containers Kubernetes serverless and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform). Working knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP is good to have.

• You have experience with scripting and automation (Python Bash or Go) for security processes within CI/CD pipelines.

• You are passionate about information security and motivated to enhance security in a dynamic environment.

• You have experience or proficiency in implementing any of the compliance frameworks like SOC ISO etc.

• You enjoy solving complex security challenges and mentoring others in adopting security best practices.
