CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology including networked CT units dedicated protocol support and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Job Description

Utilize all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.

Additional Job Description

Required Licensure Certifications Registrations:

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) required.
ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is .
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHArecognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
