Program Manager, EMEA Data Center Delivery

Do you enjoy transforming data into actionable insights and taking data-driven approach to solving complex business problems AWS is looking for a pro-active Program Manager with strong technical and analytical skills.

You recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity test design analysis validation and documentation. You write high quality code to retrieve and analyze data as well as analyze and solve business problems at their root stepping back to understand the broader context. Developing pragmatic analyses and choosing applicable solutions that add value to your business area you understand data resources and know how when and which to use (and which not to use). By recognizing and using advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems you develop analyses (whether fully formed or exploratory) for the business sake not for analyses sake. You seek to understand the business objectives relevant to your area and align your work to those objectives and seek to deliver business value.

You will own the design development and maintenance of ongoing metrics reports analyses dashboards etc. within SQL Redshift Quicksights etc. You will be required to design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we expand. You will empower data-driven decision making through implementing principles of data mining data modeling and analytical skills to define and measure critical metrics.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of program and project delivery from conception through implementation measurement closure handover and monitoring. You should be able to manage multiple cross-functional competing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and agility are encouraged. Were looking for someone who sees around corners is adept at eliminating complexity is biased for action has experience making the right tradeoffs and earns trust through broad stakeholder influence.

Key job responsibilities
* Drive end-to-end delivery of medium-size projects to meet program goals
* Build and improve processes and mechanisms to drive efficiencies in tech team operations
* Create project plans manage scope and execution including risks and communication through project completion
* Implement program management and operational excellence best practices
* Manage meetings effectively and drive detailed discussions and high-level alignment
* Collaborate with Senior leaders to deliver projects on-time and with targeted quality
* Assist in goal and metrics reporting operational support and provide communications mechanisms to the field

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization. Experience in program or project management

- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization. Experience building processes project management and schedules
- 3 years of program or project management experience 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
