Alternative Municipal Budget Indigenous Researcher
SUMMARY: The CCPA Manitoba Office is seeking an Indigenous researcher to coordinate consultation with Winnipeg urban Indigenous leaders for the 2026 Winnipeg Alternative Municipal Budget. The researcher will lead consultations and draft recommendations into a chapter on Indigenous Relations for the Alternative Municipal Budget 2026.
REPORTS TO: Senior Researcher (Errol Black Chair in Labour Issues).

WORKPLACE: The position works from the CCPA Manitoba office at 583 Ellice. This space is wheelchair accessible. Some hybrid work is possible but not guaranteed.
ELIGIBILITY: The position starts October 2025 and ends in May2026. The hourly rate is $35 per hour for a total of 200 hours.
Due to the subject matter CCPA is seeking a person who identifies as First Nations Métis or Indigenous for this position.
