Job Description
Team Red Dog is looking for a Data Scientist 2 to support our client a global leader in technology. This role offers the opportunity to work on Microsoft Edge Browser which reaches billions of users worldwide. Youll be part of the AI & CoPilot division analyzing data building models and driving insights that shape user acquisition engagement and retention strategies. This is a chance to collaborate across multiple teams contribute to meaningful projects and make an impact on a product used across the globe. This role has the option to be 100% remote or hybrid (Redmond WA).
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as SQL Python or R to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms like Databricks Cosmos Microsoft Azure or equivalent.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with tools such as PowerBI and Excel to build dashboards and provide actionable insights.
- Experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques to explore data test hypotheses and generate business recommendations.

How you will make an impact:
Contribute to weekly business metric reporting by analyzing movements building dashboards and communicating findings clearly.
Process and analyze large datasets to identify patterns opportunities and challenges in user acquisition engagement and retention.
Apply statistical and machine learning models to uncover insights and guide leadership decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product managers developers finance and marketing to support business growth.
The expertise you bring:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Statistics Data Science Mathematics Econometrics Economics or related field.
24 years of experience in Business Insights Data Analytics or Data Science.
Strong proficiency in SQL Python R or similar scripting languages.
Proven ability to work with big data platforms such as Databricks Cosmos or Azure.
Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI and Excel.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated history of success in data-driven roles.
