Zymo Research is seeking a Scientific Marketing Intern who is not only detail-oriented and creative but also deeply curious about the connection between content business goals and scientific impact. Great marketers combine empathythe ability to understand and connect with the audiencewith strategic thinking that ensures every message serves a larger purpose. This internship is designed to help you cultivate both.
In this role youll help produce digital content that is clear audience-centric and consistent with our brand voice and visual identity. Youll support marketing initiatives across social media blogs podcasts webinars press and video while learning to create compelling high-quality content that aligns with our brand guidelines company mission and customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Design
Create and edit social media graphics blog visuals and other digital assets
Draft concise engaging copy that reflects Zymos tone and core values
Ensure all content adheres to Zymo Researchs brand and style guidelines
Social & Digital Media Publishing
Support social scheduling and engagement across platforms
Upload video and audio assets (YouTube Vimeo Spotify)
Generate podcast titles and summaries using transcripts
Campaign & Event Support
Assist in the development of marketing materials for webinars symposiums and company campaigns
Coordinate the preparation and tracking of digital assets in support of key events (e.g. BioFestival product launches)
Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure content is aligned with Zymos scientific mission and customer focus
Marketing Strategy Exposure
Join campaign planning meetings and brainstorms
Learn how Zymo aligns content with business strategy and audience needs
Contribute to projects that strengthen Zymos presence in life sciences and biotech communities
Education and Experience:
Currently pursuing a degree in Biology Life Sciences or a related field. Students in other disciplines are welcome to apply though coursework in biology is strongly preferred.
A strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and science

Compensation Benefits and Perks:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20/hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer if applicable and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation including geographic location experience knowledge skills abilities and other job permitted factors.
