Job Description: Order Processor Location: Watford Hertfordshire Job Type: Full time Permanent Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Order Processor to join a busy and growing team within the fenestration industry. This is a full-time permanent role offering the opportunity to build a long-term career in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience producing quotations for trade residential or commercial projects using bills of quantities and technical drawings. Experience with pricing software such as Logikal is highly desirable; however training can be provided. Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates and process orders for aluminium windows doors and bi-folding systems
Analyse enquiries identify customer requirements and ensure quotations match specifications Liaise with estimators to resolve queries and discrepancies Implement customer modifications prior to production scheduling Confirm orders with customers ensuring all missing information is clarified and updated Process jobs in line with agreed timelines following customer sign-off Assign appropriate lead times based on order specifications (quantity colour system) Handle customer queries regarding amendments and provide timely resolutions Review new jobs daily from estimators and input data into job tracking systems Check quotations against original enquiries and processed details before issuing order
confirmations Forward confirmed orders to purchasing and fabrication teams Export profiles accessories glass and panel sizes and CNC files for manufacturing
Skills and Experience
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy Ability to prioritise organise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Confident working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment IT literate with experience using industry-specific software (Logikal desirable) Must be eligible to work in the UK and available for on-site work
