About us:
Leominster Animal Hospitalis looking for anexperienced veterinary technician to step into the supervisor role. The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our patients clients andLeominster Animal Hosptialteam. We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience as a veterinary technician. Would prefer a licensed tech but that is not mandatory. A positive and motivating attitude is a must. The ideal candidate would enjoy client interaction and be confident in rooming patients assisting in surgery monitoring surgery patients surgical recovery drawing blood and running bloodwork placing IV catheters knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning experience with in-clinic laboratory equipment comfortable with proper animal handling and restraint understand the importance of client education knowledge of handling medical records and is a positive and supportive team player. The technician supervisor divides their time between floor tech duties and leadership roles which identifies the incumbent as the supervisor to help when tech issues need to be resolved. This tech supervisor must be able to translate managements vision into clear concise actions that support management perspectives guide the tech team to meet performance standards and develop a relationship with other clinic members in an effort to support and solidify team coexistence and cohesiveness.
