Job Summary
We are looking for an Auditor on our Mid Shift (Schedule: Schedule M-F 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) for our Zeeland warehouse.
Pay: $18/hr.
Position Summary
The Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring product quality and accuracy before items are loaded for transport. This position is responsible for auditing completed orders to confirm they meet company standards and customer expectations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail the ability to work efficiently within established timelines and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. The Auditor contributes directly to customer satisfaction by upholding the integrity of each shipment.
The Auditors responsibilities include:
- Certify orders are free of errors: correct quantity requested correct SKU requested and quality of product is free of damage.
- Ensure that all banded units are built tightly and levelers effectively used for safe transport.
- Notify the order puller of any errors found for correction prior to transport and notify the supervisor of any discrepancies product quality issues or safety issues.
- Record daily audited order information onto written and/or electronic logs.
- Anticipate the needs of the business by auditing orders of high priority prior to those of low priority.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to productively perform all essential functions including physical requirements.
- Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company-approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Basic math skills interpersonal/team skills and reasoning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection experience.
- Familiarity with building supplies.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
