A TEGNA Digital Sales Strategist supports the sales team by creating and implementing digital media solutions for clients ensuring campaign success through pre-sales strategy management and post-sale optimization. This role requires expertise in digital marketing platforms like Premion (OTT) client relationship management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver strong ROI and meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Strategy:
Assist Account Executives in understanding client needs and designing custom digital and broadcast advertising solutions.
Campaign Management:
Oversee the launch and day-to-day execution optimization and fulfillment of digital ad campaigns.
Client Support:
Provide strong communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes and high customer satisfaction.
Revenue Growth:
Identify new revenue opportunities by upselling current clients and cross-selling TEGNAs portfolio of digital and streaming products.
Technical Expertise:
Maintain deep knowledge of TEGNAs products digital platforms and advertising technologies including OTT (Over-The-Top streaming) targeted display and first-party data solutions.
Reporting and Optimization:
Implement attribution models to demonstrate campaign impact and provide insights to improve performance.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience: 3-5 years in digital marketing sales support or digital ad operations.
Technical Knowledge: Expert understanding of digital advertising principles platforms (including OTT and targeted display) and performance tracking.
Sales Acumen: Strong ability to prospect for new revenue identify client needs and develop solutions.
Collaboration: Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office and CRM software like Salesforce.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
