We improve the lives of millions of people each year through our innovative healthcare products.To be successful in this role you will be able to manage people which includes: accountability for mentoring developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets conducting performance reviews and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals. You are a pro-active team player with a distinct drive for execution and results. You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and are able to build lasting relationships with colleagues in other departments and disciplines. Managing several operational tasks and projects at once poses no problem for you.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Controls the flow of raw and finished goods services and information between point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site through to customer placement in order to meet customer or manufacturing requirements
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes such as the replenishment system data interchange systems demand management electronic data systems administration and related functions
- Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives
- Builds relationships with manufacturing suppliers and customers through the resolution of delivery issues
- Integrates market intelligence from operating entities distribution transportation suppliers and customers to continuously improve competitive position
- Overseeing their area of responsibility managing performance developing talent engagement and inclusion communicating business and operational developments planning prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes projects and tactics within one job area
- Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
- Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills in the English and Dutch language
- You have a can-do mentality and have the capability to get things done from a team of people and are able to connect people both within your own team as well as with cross functional teams you will work with
- You lead by example walk the talk and are focused on developing your team to high standards to set them up to be successful.
