Southeastern Louisiana Universitys Department of Alumni Relations invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Alumni Relations.

The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations will help to engage Southeastern Louisiana Universitys 80000 living alumni in meaningful ways including volunteerism and philanthropic support of Southeasterns mission. The Director is responsible for providing strategic direction for every aspect of the alumni relations program.
- Engagement: Motivate alumni to invest in the success of Southeastern.
- Connection: Create new and leverage existing alumni connections to build loyalty and enhance the reputation of the program and the University.
- Leadership: Increase pride in the University by promoting alumni successes and increasing alumni volunteer leadership opportunities.
- Reputation: Serve as Southeasterns professional alumni relations expert to build the reputation of Southeasterns maturing alumni program.

The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations will assist in the Goals of the Director of Alumni Relations with a special focus on soon to graduate students and young alumni.

Ability to travel and some evenings and weekends are required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree from an accredited University
One to three years of work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in alumni relations or fund raising special events marketing or a volunteer organization
Experience and understanding of relationship engagement programs

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE ABILITY AND SKILLS
Knowledge and skill in social media platforms and design programs such as Canva
Experience with Blackbaud NXT or similar CRM is preferred
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Event Planning and Coordination
