Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
Community Forward SF is a collection of vital programs that ensures our neighbors experiencing homelessness have effective services designed for their unique needs. Whether one needs housing medical shelter a safe place for recovery or calm in the face of domestic violence we care for those most vulnerable in our community.
We are not just one program. We are a network of programs designed to work together to meet every stage of need. We focus on the hardest to reach most vulnerable people: Women Medical Crisis Substance Use Disorder and Older Adults. Our programs meet the needs of people rather than demanding that people meet the needs of our programs.

Our mission is to end the cycle of homelessness and uplift those most marginalized by providing holistic client-centered and trauma-informed support services in San Francisco. Through the ETH (Ending Trans Homelessness) scattered-site subsidy program we work intentionally to support the trans and gender non-conforming community by offering long-term housing solutions with care and integrity.
JOB SUMMARY:
Community Forward SF is hiring a Landlord Liaison. The Landlord Liaison is a critical and compassionate bridge between participants and property owners or managers. This role serves as an additional layer of support for participants while simultaneously cultivating and maintaining respectful collaborative relationships with landlords. The Landlord Liaison ensures that both partiestenant and landlordfeel heard supported and guided toward successful tenancy and housing stability. As a neutral and trusted point of contact the Landlord Liaison centralizes communication resolves tenancy concerns proactively and helps preserve the autonomy and dignity of each participant. This role is foundational to fostering a housing culture that values communication respect and long-term success for all involved.

They play an intricate and indispensable role in the success of every housing placement by ensuring that both landlords and participants are supported throughout the journey. They help prevent evictions mediate misunderstandings and build trust with housing providers across the cityall while uplifting the voices of those we serve. This is not just a support positionits a partnership-building role that contributes directly to our mission to end homelessness and ensure that every participant feels welcomed respected and empowered in their new home.
