TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE IIBiological Engineering to serve as a member of a cutting-edge research team advancing chemical synthesis therapeutics and vaccine development using synthetic nucleic acids; perform independent research and support DNA/RNA synthesis purification and conjugation using solid-phase enzymatic and organic chemistry techniques; conduct quantitative analysis via PCR HPLC electrophoresis and mass spectrometry; responsible for ordering lab supplies and reagents; coordinate lab operations safety compliance protocol development and equipment maintenance.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in chemistry biochemistry or related field; a minimum of four years specialized lab experience in research or industry with expertise in solid-phase nucleic acid synthesis purification and biochemical analysis; must be self-motivated detail-oriented and able to plan execute and troubleshoot experiments independently; strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to maintaining precise documentation; must adapt to evolving lab needs and work both independently and collaboratively; ability to follow complex protocols and conduct independent research; willingness to learn new techniques and occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed. No travel required. PREFERRED: Masters degree in chemistry biochemistry or a related technical field. Strong interest in a long-term role contributing to the continuity and success of the labs ongoing research initiatives.
