- Diagnose repair and maintain Generac standby generators
- Perform preventative maintenance (oil/air filter changes battery swaps etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues using error codes and schematics
- Service equipment in the field with professionalism and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer support and represent the brand with integrity
- Keep detailed records of work performed parts used and customer interactions
- Identify and communicate opportunities for additional services or repairs
- Proven experience as a technician mechanic or in a similar hands-on role
- Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel locally to customer job sites
- Valid drivers license preferred
