Job Description
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location:Bartlett Tennessee 38133
Assignment Length: 4 Weeks
Compensation: $23/hour (W2)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care multitasking and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks and direct patient care.
Take vital signs prepare patients for examinations and update medical records.
Perform specimen collection and basic laboratory procedures.
Administer medications as directed (if certified).
Support front desk operations including scheduling check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure proper sanitation of medical equipment.
Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a certified Medical Assistant training program.
Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA RMA or equivalent preferred).
Current CPR certification.
At least 1 year of clinical or outpatient experience (preferred).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
