We are seeking a skilled BI Analyst to join our team in Technology Business Operations (TBO) part of the Canadian Segment IT team. The successful candidate will deliver data analysis and visualization to address IT business and operational challenges. This role involves designing and conducting analyses to resolve operational and process issues collecting and interpreting data to generate reports on project health and trends and partnering with stakeholders to define the scope and technical requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and improve dashboards using PowerBI and other reporting tools adhering to UI/UX best practices.
Support in maintaining business intelligence tools and ensuring compliance with data governance.
Support the transformation of planning workforce portfolio and governance for Value Streams and squads.
Contribute to the governance and strategic reporting of portfolio project management.
Facilitate meetings and manage stakeholder perspectives to achieve optimal solutions.
Engage in data and process modeling/design conduct data audits and provide support for workforce and portfolio management.
Collaborate with the architecture and data technical teams to produce actionable insights.
Required Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of experience in the following:
Proven experience in data analysis and visualization.
Proficiency in PowerBI Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Experience in data governance and compliance.
Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to conduct data audits and engage in data and process modeling/design.
Experience in supporting workforce and portfolio management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Programming skills and/or cloud platform experience (i.e. Azure)
Industry knowledge: Understanding of the financial services industry particularly in IT and business operations.
