Lead Occupational Safety and Health Incident Management recommending strategies and interventions to mitigate risk and to improve the Corporations capability.

What you can expect with this role

  • Take the lead with key stakeholders and create a single point of with senior leaders within their respective management portfolios.
  • Develop implement and maintain OSH Incident Management Procedures.
  • Deliver / coordinate awareness and training programs across the Corporation for OSH incident investigations management reporting and recording.
  • Review and publish Safety Flashes and OSH Alerts.
  • Investigate manage and track actions from high potential investigations and communications.
  • Oversee the use and effectiveness of the Safety Reporting System and ensure end user requirements are addressed or referred to the Business Process representative.


Your skills and experience

For this role we are looking for great talent with:

  • Degree level qualification in an Occupational Safety and / or Health related discipline or extensive equivalent professional experience in a large multi-disciplined organisation.

AND

  • Substantial experience within a large multi-disciplined organisation and demonstrated capability and knowledge of delivering broad ranging OSH hazards & incident management investigations consultancy and delivery services and influencing OSH strategies plans programs systems and cultural change initiatives.
  • Considerable experience and demonstrated achievements in participating with and advising a multidisciplinary workforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing at a senior level.
