The Waldorf School of Louisville (WSL) is a fee-based independent school in Jefferson County servingchildren from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. About the Position:
The Parent-Child Teacher leads weekly classes for parents and/or caregivers and their young children (typically ages birth to 3 years old) fostering a nurturing and supportive environment grounded in the principles of Waldorf early childhood education. The teacher guides adults and children through seasonal rhythms songs handwork movement and practical parenting insights inspired by Rudolf Steiners teachings.
Part time position: flexible days; minimum one morning/week class; additional classes may be added as needed depending on enrollment. Class sessions run for 10 weeks with one make up day. Indoor classroom space and outdoor play area are available.
Typical Schedule for Class: 8:30 9:00 Class preparation 9:00 10:30 Class 10:30 11:00 clean up
bi-weekly mentoring meeting 1 hr
Salary: $100/class plus $25 per meeting
