Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or presently attending high school. Required
Work Experience
- Retail pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred in particular in the following areas: unit dose distribution compounding non-sterile medications IV admixture including USP<797> and <800> and automated dispensing machine technology. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois. Candidates without a license may work in this role for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements but will need to obtain a Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation license from IDFPR. Required
- Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification within two (2) years of date license was first issued. Required
