Senior Product Support Engineering Technical Excellence Manager

The Global Supply Chain & Systems Engineering (GSC&SS) organization is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineering Technical Excellence Manager to join our team in Everett WA; Seattle WA; Charleston SC; North Charleston SC; Long Beach CA; Seal Beach CA; or San Antonio TX. The selected candidate will be responsible for operationalizing projects and deliverables for the Functional Chief Engineer (FCE) of Product Support Engineering associated with standardizing scaling and improving technical excellence across the Product Support Engineering function. This position will accomplish this statement of work utilizing direct and indirect reporting resources either within the FCE Organization or in partnership with the Business Units Product Support Engineering teams.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Design Practice Ecosystem Execution oversight of the Design Practice portfolio Technical Board: Define Launch Mature Working Groups Technical Design Review activities and Design Record Book approaches
• Digital Engineering: Operationalize the Future Functional Vision Enterprise Technology Roadmap and Milestones
• Process & Tools: Define strategic priorities of Future Functional Vision for the FCE Roadmap and Milestones:
  • Engineering Lean Tools and Processes
  • AI/ML Activities
  • Enterprise Future Work Instructions
• Technical & Engineering Oversight & Program Engagement:
  • Summarize Program Risks/Issues of PSE office to the FCE
  • Definition of Program Engagement (Emergent Support & Program Milestone Reviews)
  • Mature and establish enterprise Product Support Engineering functional engagement model for cross functional integration.
• Additional duties to support the Functional Chief Engineer

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within engineering and/or test
• 5 years of experience architecting business transformation or optimization projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
• Strong and effective communication skills
