Job Summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is a K-8 district. FUESD is nestled in the foothillsabout 50 miles northeast of San Diego California. The District extends from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) and East of the I-15.

Under the general supervision of the District Nurse and Administration:

To provide a variety of specialized health care services for students who are health impaired and/or have specialized health care needs
To administer first aid to students and staff
To maintain health service information and records
To do related work as required

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

WORKSITE:Maie Ellis Elementary
WORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 6.5 hours/day 5 days/week 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Two (2) years of college course work in nursing physiology or related field; two (2) years of nursing experience; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Willing to take additional training to treat specific medical conditions to permit students to effectively participate in instruction.
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: CurrentCalifornia registration as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse and First Aid/CPR Certificate.
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF):
