QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid Arkansas CDL
- Experience in data entry operations
- Other job-related education and/or experience may substitute for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the bi-racial interview review committee.
REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation
JOB GOAL: Responsible for providing approved transportation services.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a liaison between bus drivers and parents.
- Prepare reports for student transportation.
- Implement Versa TRAN routing system.
- Develop routes based on the needs of the District and Students.
- Assist drivers in selection of stops that will ensure safety.
- Assist in answering phones.
- Assist in preparations for bus in-service/meetings.
- Design efficient routes and schedule buses.
- Meet and deal with the public in a manner that will promote a positive image of the School District.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Range 11 Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($15.84/hr. - $29.03/hr. depending on relevant experience)
Length of Contract: 244 contract days
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Personnel Status: Classified
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
