Biology Technician

The Opportunity:

Education: college degree in biology or biology related field or 2 years work experience as a lab technician.

Who you are:

• Prepare specimens for raw material stock through fixation sub-culture sectioning mounting sexing etc. and labeling correctly QC
• Maintenance of specimens being used for production stocking restocking etc.
• Knowledge of plant or animal anatomy and physiology and sterile technique- to understand and be comfortable with what needs to prepare and how to prepare it - acquired through education and experience.
• to self and others- acquired through company training and experience.
• Knowledge of quality material- to determine if specimen meets quality standard- acquired through experience
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity- to be able to perform required fine dissections and sorting.
• Acquired through experience and repetition.
