Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton VA is currently hiring aSenior Environmental Services Technician to work a full time evening (2nd) shift position with rotating weekends.

Overview

The Senior Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for patients staff and visitors. This position combines hands-on service with functional supervision of environmental services staff to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met in assigned this role you will be responsible for maintaining assigned areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition ensuring an appropriate and sanitary environment. As a leader within the Environmental Services team you will also provide training guidance and support to colleagues contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture.

Education

High School Grad or Equivalent. 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Experience

2 years of Housekeeping/ESD experience (Required)
Previous leadership or team lead experience (Preferred)
