Customer Service Coordinator Key accounts BCO

Full time permanent

We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to work within our Import Customer Service department. Excellent communication skills are required to support both internal and external customers answering enquiries quickly and professionally. The successful candidate will work within the Key Accounts team to ensure all aspects of the role are handled efficiently and accurately within the set KPIs.

How you will help us and what you can expect

In this role you will be providing efficient and effective customer service and communication to our customers across the world ensuring that their shipping documents are accurate and error free. You will be a point of contact for our customers with the ability to manage your own workload to work in line with MSC and your teams KPIs.

This is your chance to work with the team to provide the customer service you would want to be given and contribute significantly to our success.

The key responsibilities for this role also include:

  • Booking line deliveries and releasing merchant containers in line with customer instructions
  • Ensure all documentation and funds (where appropriate) are received
  • Manage containers off quay in accordance with commercial agreements
  • Provide customer reports within agreed deadlines
  • Invoice query Resolution
  • Contribute towards ideas & discussions for department evolution
  • Utilise training plans to increase knowledge & experience
  • Ensure flexible approach to colleagues and workload
