CDT (Clean Deburr Tumble) Operator

Location: Johnstown PA

Are you hands-on detail-oriented and passionate about precision Join our team as a CDT Operator where youll play a critical role in preparing high-quality machined parts for the next stage of production. What Youll Do:

Deburr & Polish: Use hand tools and pneumatic grinders to remove burrs sharp edges and excess material from machined components.

Surface Finishing: Smooth and blend surfaces using dual-action sanders abrasive wheels and buffing tools.

Operate Equipment: Run tumblers timesavers buffing machines and wash tanks following proper procedures.

Clean & Inspect: Wash parts to remove oils and debris and perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Follow Blueprints: Read and interpret complex drawings flowcharts and build plans to guide your work.

Collaborate & Train: Work closely with team members and assist in training others on deburring and part prep techniques.

Stay Safe: Use required PPE (safety glasses dust mask ear protection) and follow all safety protocols.

Document Work: Accurately record tasks and part status using SAP.

Support Production: Occasionally assist in other areas and complete tasks as prioritized by your supervisor.

What You Bring:

A keen eye for detail and a steady hand for intricate work.

Experience with hand tools pneumatic grinders and finishing equipment.

Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and grow through in-house training.
