Job Description
Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is seeking a Quality Control Specialist II to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design acquisition and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Level Clearance
- High School diploma/GED related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate.
3 years professional experience solving technical problems.
Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
Able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD) ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
