Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (3x12s)
Compensation:
Travelers: $2304/week (gross)
Local: $2000/week (gross)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) Surgical Technologist / OR Tech for a 13-week assignment. This position requires prior open-heart and cardiovascular experience. The Surgical Technologist will serve as an essential member of the surgical team working closely with surgeons RNs anesthesiologists CRNAs and other support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist for surgical cases in both CVOR and general OR settings.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments equipment and supplies.
Handle sterile fields medications and specimens according to protocols.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures.
Uphold aseptic and patient safety standards.
Support surgical team under the direction of OR leadership.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR/OR Tech.
Proficiency in open-heart and cardiovascular procedures.
Current BLS certification (required).
National CST certification (preferred).
Strong teamwork organizational and communication skills.
