Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Quality Manager located in North Charleston SC.

Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing pre-flight inspection of aircraft systems and components for conformance to operational and safety standards.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals and objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Current A&P certification
5 years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with executives managers customers stakeholders peers and business partners
5 years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams initiatives or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
5 years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing organization
5 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process
Experience with the One BPS system
The ability to manage develop and motivate employees
Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner
Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures
Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving
Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive Relationship Ethical Leadership
Demonstrated skills in Team Building Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation
