Job Summary
Job Title: Email Developer & Digital Designer
Location: Bolingbrook IL 60440 (Hybrid Onsite approx. 6x/month)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Email Developer & Digital Designer to create build and optimize a wide range of email campaignsincluding promotional triggered and transactional communications. This role requires expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Movable Ink and other marketing automation tools along with strong design and coding skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter highly organized and able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build and code email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Movable Ink and related platforms.
Troubleshoot and edit design/code during the proofing process across tools (Figma Salesforce Movable Ink).
Ensure all campaigns align with brand guidelines and maintain design consistency.
Collaborate with marketing teams to coordinate deployment schedules.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering high-quality work on time.
Stay up to date on email best practices ESP features and emerging design/tech trends.
Provide creative solutions to improve email engagement and performance.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the email design and development workflow.
Required Qualifications
35 years of hands-on experience in email development and digital design.
Bachelors degree in Design Media Arts or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing professional email and digital design work.
Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar ESPs) and Movable Ink.
Knowledge of AMPscript HTML CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with triggered transactional and journey-based email campaigns.
Advanced skills with Figma Adobe Creative Suite Dreamweaver (or similar tools) and CMS platforms.
Familiarity with data integrations APIs and project management tools (e.g. ).
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in e-commerce or retail settings preferred.
Passion for digital design innovation and user-focused experiences.
Nice to Have
Video editing and/or animation experience.
