A. Supplier RBA-criteria Assessment & Improvements
- Develop and implement comprehensive RBA audit plans for suppliers. This involves communicating the RBA standards and Coherents Supplier Code of Conduct in detail which cover labor rights health and safety environment & sustainability ethics and relevant management systems.
- Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports. Highlight areas of non-compliance provide practical recommendations for improvement and set follow-up timelines for suppliers to address issues.
- Track suppliers corrective action and verify closure status and support suppliers efforts in achieving RBA compliance. This may include providing training resources sharing best practices and facilitating communication channels.
B. Responsible Minerals
- Oversee the supply chain data collection validation and submission of responsible minerals reporting templates CMRT EMRT and AMRT as assigned.
- Leverage resources of external service providers and work with suppliers to obtain CMRT EMRT and AMRT keep progress on track and do RM data consolidation and analysis
- Collaborate with Procurement managers and other key stakeholders to drive action plans for mitigating the compliance risk of smelters in supply chain. This includes reporting/syncing on the status of responsible minerals sourcing to internal stakeholders.
- Enable multi-tier supply chain mapping that traces materials back to their country of origin and initial mining site including the first points of smelting.
- Engage with suppliers to promote responsible minerals sourcing practices. This could involve setting up supplier training programs and encouraging participate of industry - wide initiatives
C. New Supplier Assessment Supply Chain Sustainability and others
- Participate in new supplier qualification assessment that includes compliance and/or sustainability topics in Malaysia and other southeast Asia countries.
- Collaborate with third-party platforms to thoroughly vet new suppliers during the onboarding process.
- Measure and monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in scope 3. This includes collecting data driving suppliers to set reduction targets and develop action plans and providing support and resources to suppliers such as sharing case studies utilizing training resources or connecting them with relevant technology providers.
- Communicate the progress of supply chain GHG emissions reduction projects and training program to internal stakeholders.
- Implement compliance-related online/offline compliance surveys throughout the supply chain drove by customer requests or internal risk assessment requirements
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree or above in a relevant field such as environmental science supply chain management laws EHS business administration or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance and sustainability or a related area.
- Experience in conducting RBA/CSR/SER audits and Responsible Minerals Sourcing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using various RBA tools and the ability to develop supply chain assessment forms is highly desirable.
- Experience with sustainability directives and initiatives is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in managing projects related to GHG emissions reduction will be considered a significant plus.
- Fundamental awareness and basic understanding of import/export compliance principles.
- In-depth knowledge of RBA standards responsible minerals regulations and greenhouse gas accounting methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess audit findings analyze supply chain data and develop effective strategies for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with suppliers internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Project management skills to plan execute and monitor projects related to the mentioned responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
Working Conditions
- The role is hybrid with travels to suppliers for assessments audit and corrective actions verifications.
