Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs) and traffic studies to evaluate road network performance and recommend traffic mitigation measures
• Develop Transportation Master Plans that integrate land use planning and incorporate multimodal transportation strategies
• Develop traffic models using relevant traffic and transportation engineering software such as PTV Vissim Bentley SYNCHRO AutoTURN
• Derive and analyze transportation-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as person trip generation mode split vehicle trip generation and internal-external trip distribution
• Review and evaluate road network design and hierarchy for code compliance best practices and demand forecasts
• Perform gateway analysis and develop strategies to enhance regional accessibility mobility and connectivity
• Analyze parking demand and formulate parking strategies
• Assess transit demand and develop internal and external transit strategies including route planning
• Prepare technical reports and participate in meetings and presentations as required

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering. A post-graduate degree is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Extensive knowledge of PTV Vissim Bentley SYNCHRO AutoTURN AutoCAD and Microsoft Applications
