Job Description
Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Designer (Hospitality)
We are looking for a Designer to join our talented team. This Designer will work with Sales Project Management and Design Customers to create custom hospitality designs for multiple spaces as well as creative design work for product development. This position will work directly with local Account Executives to develop key market designs and products to meet position will be based in our (Dalton GA Location) and will report to the (Design Manager).
Your skills we value:
- The ability to creatively interpret design concepts from conception to completion focusing on the hospitality market.
- Help develop custom designs for A&D in both machine-tufted and Axminster constructions.
- Providing well-conceived and carefully executed designs as well as an in-depth knowledge of production and installation requirements.
- Adept at working quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with varying levels of development work.
- Proficient understanding of carpet installation planning while interfacing effectively with our Planning Department.
- Frequently execute custom design collections to meet current and emerging market trends.
- In conjunction with Production Designer cleaning designs to ensure they are production ready.
Experience & Education Desired:
- Preferred bachelors degree in relevant area of study
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role
- Master proficiency in Ned Graphics; Photoshop proficiency preferred.
- Exceptional understanding of design and color principals
- Ability to design for multiple machine types including Tufted and Axminster preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
