Senior SAP Functional Consultant (MM/SD/PP/WM)
Location: Bangalore India
Department: Life Sciences Group IT Supply Chain Operations
Experience: 10 years
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise across MM SD Production Planning and Warehouse Management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in end-to-end SAP implementations global rollouts and production support in complex global environments.
This position will collaborate closely with system analysts and business partners throughout the Supply Chain Management department improving operational efficiency and facilitating smooth connections with Advanced Planning Systems Warehouse Management Transportation Management and MES solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design configuration and support of SAP MM SD PP and WM modules in a global SAP environment.
Collaborate with supply chain business partners to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
Drive implementation and support of SAP solutions including integration with:
Advanced Planning Systems (Kinaxis Oracle ASCP Oracle SCM etc.)
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Collaborate with multi-functional IT and business teams to achieve seamless process integration across logistics planning and operations.
Guide global rollouts upgrades and support initiatives.
Fixing and resolving critical issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Prepare functional specifications test scenarios and training materials.
Act as a key connection between business collaborators system analysts and technical teams.
Qualifications / Skills
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (required).
Masters degree is a plus.
Professional Experience
10 years of SAP (ECC 6/S4 HANA )Functional consulting experience with solid expertise in MM SD PP and WM.
Hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP implementations and global support models.
Strong expertise in system integration with planning warehouse transport and manufacturing systems.
Exposure to Life Sciences or Manufacturing industries preferred.
Certifications
SAP Functional certification (MM/SD/PP/WM).
ASCM/APICS or equivalent supply chain certifications (preferred).
Technical & Methodology Skills
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology with hands-on experience in sprint ceremonies.
SAP ABAP Knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
Proficiency in JIRA for backlog management sprint tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV) processes in regulated environments (Life Sciences Pharma or related industries).
Proficiency in ServiceNow (or similar ITSM platforms) for IT service management and workflow automation.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Effective communication and collaborator coordination in a global setting.
Established proficiency in collaborating with multi-functional multicultural teams.
High learning agility and ability to adapt to new tools and processes.
