Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager with a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. This role will report to and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations S Corporations Partnerships Trusts Individuals and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.
Base salary for this role is $140000-$175000.

Qualifications
- Batchelors degree in accounting required. Masters degree in Tax a plus
- CPA designation required
- 10 years of tax experience in public accounting including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for developing others
- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
- High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including direct client communications
- Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred
