Description
The Admissions & Registration Representative plays a vital role in registering and admitting patients for inpatient and outpatient services while ensuring accuracy efficiency and exceptional customer service. Under the direction of Admitting Department leadership this position is responsible for collecting and verifying patient demographics insurance information and necessary documentation to facilitate smooth hospital admissions and procedures.
In addition to registration duties the Admissions & Registration Representative provides information to patients families and staff while ensuring compliance with hospital policies privacy regulations and financial procedures. Other duties include performing Release of Information duties on during shifts. This role requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
Customer service experience required.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting public-facing role or administrative environment preferred.
Office/clerical experience preferred.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Strong computer and typing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Strong customer service problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
