The work and decisions of the Marketing Projects Coordinator have a direct impact on the goals of recruiting teams to market and promote UBC within Canada and internationally. The materials developed have to encourage and motivate domestic and international students from around Canada and the world within a deeply competitive arena to select UBC as their study destination.
The materials produced have a profound impact on the public perception of the university and of the quality of its program offerings. Unattractive poor quality inaccurate misleading or culturally dissonant materials would have a detrimental effect on the universitys ability to attract admit and enrol students.
