Job Summary
Position Overview:
The Bartender/Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages including expertly crafted cocktails specialty coffees and nonalcoholic drinks while delivering exceptional service in line with Raffles & Fairmont standards. This role ensures a welcoming atmosphere and an engaging guest experience at the bar or caf.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails coffee tea and other drinks with consistency and flair.
Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and promote signature drinks and upselling opportunities.
Ensure all bar or caf equipment and counters are clean wellstocked and in proper working condition.
Follow recipes portion controls and presentation standards.
Maintain knowledge of beverage menus ingredients brewing techniques and current trends.
Handle guest interactions with professionalism and warmth ensuring guest satisfaction.
Follow proper cash handling procedures including POS operation and billing.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of barista and bar areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory control restocking and daily opening/closing procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender or barista in a luxury hotel fine dining or premium caf/bar setting.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and bar mixology techniques.
Barista or bartending certification is an advantage.
Excellent guest service interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail creativity and passion for beverages.
Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
