Role: DevOps Engineer (Full Stack Production Engineer)

Job Description:

Value technology looking for DevOps Engineer (Full Stack Production Engineer) with 5 8 years of experience to join our team in Wilmington DE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS cloud-native application development production support and DevOps automation combined with strong programming skills in Java and Python. This is a fully onsite role and you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide production support for full-stack cloud-native applications.
Develop deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud using native services.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Manage and provision AWS infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation Terraform etc.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance application reliability and performance.
Work with cloud databases perform troubleshooting and optimize performance.
Implement and support authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT.
Ensure unit testing version control (Git) and continuous integration standards are followed.

Mandatory Skills:

Production Support experience in a live environment.
Strong experience in AWS cloud-native application development.
Hands-on with AWS infrastructure provisioning technologies.
Programming skills in Java and Python.
Experience with Git unit testing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with cloud databases (RDS DynamoDB etc.).
Experience with SAML and JWT authentication protocols.
Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills.
Detail-oriented and self-driven.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana).
