Role: DevOps Engineer (Full Stack Production Engineer)
Location: Wilmington DE Onsite
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Job Description:
Value technology looking for DevOps Engineer (Full Stack Production Engineer) with 5 8 years of experience to join our team in Wilmington DE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS cloud-native application development production support and DevOps automation combined with strong programming skills in Java and Python. This is a fully onsite role and you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for full-stack cloud-native applications.
- Develop deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud using native services.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Manage and provision AWS infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation Terraform etc.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance application reliability and performance.
- Work with cloud databases perform troubleshooting and optimize performance.
- Implement and support authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT.
- Ensure unit testing version control (Git) and continuous integration standards are followed.
Mandatory Skills:
- Production Support experience in a live environment.
- Strong experience in AWS cloud-native application development.
- Hands-on with AWS infrastructure provisioning technologies.
- Programming skills in Java and Python.
- Experience with Git unit testing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with cloud databases (RDS DynamoDB etc.).
- Experience with SAML and JWT authentication protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-driven.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools (e.g. CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana).
Special Expectations:
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
- Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability in managing products.
