About this Position Xray Tech at Main Hospital Shift: Will work 3x12 nights Thursday - Saturday 6:30p-7A with holidays as needed Is on-call REQ Call rotation for weekly call 3-4 days/month. Daily Caseload per tech: Varies Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Required/Preferred: Years of experience REQ 1 year First Timers Accepted-yes Certs/Lic REQ: ARRT BLS Certification/Licenses Accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) Types of Experience REQ: O-Arm and C-arm experience Trauma experience preferred but not required Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc Radius rule Yes 60 miles. Are locals accepted Yes at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma: Magnet Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 865 Scrub Color: Teal Top/Black Bottoms Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
