Job Description
Job Title: COBOL/Oracle PL/SQL Developer (MF COBOL UNISYS COBOL Oracle 12c Cognos Perl)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualification:
- Extensive experience in application development using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL with Oracle 12c working on large-scale databases (300 tables) incorporating complex business rules.
- Proficient in COBOL development including MF COBOL and UNISYS COBOL.
- Skilled in application reporting with experience designing and maintaining reports using COGNOS and other reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience monitoring 24/7 production environments managing approximately 250 jobs per month and resolving operational issues in collaboration with production control staff.
- Strong background in creating production runbooks utilizing shell scripting tools with preference for Perl scripting.
