Job Summary

Job Title:Network Administrator
Long-term contract
Place of work: Bethesda MD- Onsite role(Need local to DMV Area)

MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Eight (8) or more years experience building and operating mission critical networks. Eight (8) or more
years experience in network design major routing protocols topology design network hardware
device configuration and traffic engineering. Eight (8) or more years hands on experience with Dell
network hardware and software. Three (3) more years implementing Spine/Leaf network topology.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Maintaining computer networks and systems including software mainframes VPNs routers and other physical hardware
Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
Communicating networking issues to other employees and management especially in training new users
Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field. Experience with
various storage solutions. Seven (7) years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree
requirements.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS PREFERRED:

Familiarity with Dell Supermassive firewalls is preferred.
Familiarity with Cisco firewalls is preferred.
Dell Certified Professional Certification with emphasis in Data Center Networking is preferred
Familiarity with Cloud technologies is preferred.
Prefer strong skills in the following key areas including strategic thinking multi-tasking time management planning and executing to a defined schedule
