Position Title: Electrical Engineer II Power Electronics Test & Validation
Location: Newark CA 94560 - Onsite
Duration: 5 months with potential for extension
Hours: Full-time M F Standard Shift

Position Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer II with expertise in power electronics testing and validation to join the Power Electronics & Test Validation team. The role focuses on low-voltage digital and analog circuits hardware verification and troubleshooting for advanced EV and renewable energy applications.
This is an onsite role in Newark CA with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform verification and validation testing of automotive-grade electronics hardware.
  • Review schematics PCB designs and perform calculations/simulations for electronic circuits.
  • Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics of low-voltage systems using lab equipment (oscilloscopes network analyzers signal analyzers etc.).
  • Identify and analyze root causes of electronics issues and drive R&D improvements independently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure compliance with automotive and industrial standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and clearly communicate findings results and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics development testing and validation.
  • Strong foundation in low-voltage digital and analog circuit design and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with test and validation equipment (oscilloscopes analyzers etc.).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot analyze failures and provide solutions.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills to convey complex engineering concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree (M.S.) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in automotive electronics EV powertrain systems or renewable energy applications.
  • Familiarity with automotive and industrial compliance requirements.
Performance Expectations
  • Complete testing and validation tasks on schedule.
  • Deliver high-quality technical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and validation teams.
