We have a customer in Phoenix AZ who has an IMMEDIATE long-term DIRECT HIRE opening for an Sr. Environmental Scientist. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position please click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will be involved in evaluating land and soils for characterization and contamination and then provide design matrixes and plans for proper remediation. This role is a Sr. role and will require candidate to mentor and lead Jr. and mid-level engineers on projects.
This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position in Phoenix AZ and requires working on-site at company office.
Salary range for this position is $10000.00 to $150000.00 depending on experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS Degree in Environmental Sciences or similar 10-15 years experience
- Must have experience in soils/characterization site contamination evaluation remediation plans
- Experience with PHASE 1/evaluation of contamination sites PHASE 2/Quantitative Analysis and sample evaluation PHASE 3/Remediation plans and Design Matrixes
- Experience on a variety of sites and projects including industrial facilities chemical pants storm water run-offs septic/waster water facilities lead/asbestos airfieldsand others
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor Jr. and mid-level engineers on projects and work effectively with contractors and vendors on projects
- Position is 80-90% in office and 10-20% in field
