Presbyterian is seeking a Manager - Security!
In collaboration with the Department director the Manager - Security will plan and direct the operations of the Security division to foster and ensure a safe secure workplace. Maintain working relationships with Security division staff employees and administration to provide effective communication related to security.
- This is a Full Time position - Exempt: Yes
- Job is based at Presbyterian Hospital
- Work hours: Varied Days and Hours

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) Associates Degree or obtained within the first three years of employment in Criminal Justice or closely related field.
- Eight to ten years documented Healthcare Security or other related Security experience with three to five years documented supervisor experience preferable in healthcare.
- LEOSA certification required at time of hire.
- Specialized training and certification as a Security Officer by a nationally accreditation organization preferred.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Director oversees the daily operation of the PHS Security division operations.
- Oversees and participates in the selection and orientation / training of new staff members.
- Develops performance standards performs personnel performance evaluations and recommends personnel actions with the collaboration of Human Resources.
- Reviews security data and designs security division staff work schedule to provide optimal security coverage.
- Assures that all required and optional training and educational requirements are fulfilled and met by all Security division staff.
